Avoinyliopisto.fi is a service that began in 1998.  No login is required to use the Avoinyliopisto.fi network and no personal details are collected.

Information submitted on the Avoinyliopisto.fi feedback form is intended as feedback to those people (known as Authors) who maintain the website.

Submitting personal and contact information on the form is optional, and no other information is submitted on the form. The personal and contact information submitted on the form is used only for replying to queries.

Monitoring of use (cookies)

Information about the use of the service is collected for the purposes of research and development. In the monitoring process, each browser is identified with a cookie, so that the system can recognise the browser as the same one when the website is accessed on different occasions. No personal or any other information leading to the identification of an individual user is collected.

The Avoinyliopisto.fi service collects the following information to monitor the web service:
